Sound

This is my final sound for the movie... Made entirely in GarageBand. I'm not totally satisfied with the way it turned out, I will play around with it more, but i'm running out of time, fast.

Edit: I went to go ask Leigh Hobba and Bill Hart (as I missed the crit session) about the sound and the video. Leigh suggested I make the sound sequenced beats that don't entwine with one another, so it would make it easier to loop. I tried this but the main problem is that 1. I'm not very musically talented, and 2. It is almost impossible to work with sound in Flash, and when I import the animation as a mov and import it into premiere to work with the sound, the image quality of the flash file is severly lowered. If I had more time to work on the sound, these probably wouldn't be such issues. Bill Hart made some suggests about the quality of the flash file, suggesting I vector each frame, which I have done (this created more work as well, as vectorizing the frames made the imperfections of the scans more clear.) and it does improve the quality a lot more, the edges are as rigid on the pen drawings I scanned, but unfortunately it has made the images digital looking. I did like the charm of the traditional medium showing through, I just wished Flash would have let me import larger file types, so the files would have been smooth - but still looked what they did originally. As for the sound, Bill suggested that video would work far better without sound! Unfortunately though, sound is a part of the criteria.
